My personal statement prompt gives a minimum number of words, but no maximum. My essay is around 750 words. Is that too long?

Even if the school doesn't specify, it's better to be around 500 words. Give your statement another read and see if you can cut anything. However, if you find every word is necessary, don't worry about it. If your writing is engaging enough the reader won't mind.
